Monica Ashour, MTS; M Hum, Executive Director
Monica Ashour is a co-founding member of TOBET, the Theology of the Body Evangelization Team. Miss Ashour holds two Masters from the University of Dallas, one in Theological Studies and one in Humanities. She has traveled throughout the United States, particularly in Texas, giving talks about the Pope John Paul II's revolutionary Theology of the Body. As an author of a curriculum on the Theology of the Body for religious education and Catholic schools, Monica seeks to spread the Gospel in the light of the Holy Father’s profound understanding of the dignity of the human person made in the image and likeness of God. |

Annie Vining, MTh, Certified Speaker
Annie Vining received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy with minors in
Religious Studies and Spanish from Texas A&M University. She holds a masters
degree in Theology from the University of Dallas, where she focused on
marriage and the family particularly as they are presented in the writings
of Pope John Paul II. An internationally published author, Annie has years
of experience giving presentations to different religious organizations. She
is the president of the Theology of the Body Evangelization Team, a
non-profit organization formed to spread Pope John Paul II’s explanation of
the Church’s teaching on sex and marriage. Annie and her husband Steven are
proud parents four children.

Julie Muller, M.Th. (JPII Melb), Certified Speaker
Julie Muller completed her undergraduate degree in philosophy from Ave Maria College as well as her master's degree from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family Studies in Melbourne, Australia. From this unique educational background, she has obtained a formation which includes subjects such as the social sciences, faith, the human person, modern philosophies, and culture. She is fascinated by the modern world's challenges to the Church, with its thought-provoking and worthwhile questions through philosophy, science, technology, and questions of the heart. She has come to discover that the Church offers answers to these questions, answers that are positive, attractive, loving and real. She desires to spread the Gospel message of Christ, particularly His promise that "I came so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (Jn 10:10). |

Ray Depta, MTS, Certified Speaker
Ray Depta holds a Master’s Degree in Theological and Pastoral Studies from the University of Dallas. A professional teacher of teens for over 15 years, Ray currently teaches Morality and Social Justice at Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth. Sharing his expertise in rendering dense concepts accessible to many, Ray has taught parish adult education classes on various asunder topics. Ray has also directed high school and college retreats, and through his particular talent in music, he unites in one voice an entire group by leading praise and worship on such retreats. As an experienced facilitator, Ray has led Bible studies, faith sharing groups, and Theology of the Body study groups, seeking to draw others to Christ through the Good News of the faith and by sharing the vision of Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

Steven Vining, Certified Speaker
Steven Vining, a loving husband and father of four, is a founding member of TOBET,
the Theology of the Body Evangelization Team. He has served as both treasurer and technology
director and was key in TOBET becoming a non profit organization. Steven has been teaching the
Theology of the Body in small group settings for about five years and has helped to bring many
people to a greater understanding of Pope John Paul the Great's exquisite teachings. Steven is an
information technology expert for Aviall Inc in Dallas and specializes in Project Management.
He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999.
